Yes, it will! The unit may need defrosting in temperatures less than 23°C, and this will happen automatically, and last up to 5 minutes. While defrosting, the defrost indicator light will turn on, the compressor will turn off, and the motor will keep working. Please don't switch off the unit, while it's defrosting.
